The Organization's agriculture related studies led to the successful introduction of training, special orientation/ refresher courses to the farmers, unemployed youth and the staff, research and development programmes, technology transfer and technology demonstrations.

In addition to this, our formulation of rehabilitation schemes and extension of credit support to farmers enables them to adopt modern technology and improve agricultural practices.

 

	Vital research inputs have been formulated to implement the National and State policies aimed at achieving rapid agricultural growth through optimal utilisation of the resources and inputs.
	Engaged in bringing public, private and cooperative sector participation for Agriculture Development. The areas of concerns include diversification of agriculture and allied industries, water management and productivity of agricultural and horticultural farms.
	Offers comprehensive research and consultancy solutions for the sustainable development of rainfed areas through integrated watershed development approach, conservation of land resources, implementation of land use policy and prevention of land degradation.
	Engaged in programs related to mitigation of adverse impact due to Natural disasters such as drought, floods and cyclone hit areas, issues affecting small and marginal farmers and food security.
	Study investigation into distribution of quality agricultural inputs such as seed, fertilizers.
	Studying farmers attitudinal and behavioral changes to crop and farm management practices, issues in promotion of agricultural mechanization through Eco-friendly and selective agricultural implements and machines and extending assistance to farmers for owning tractors, power tillers etc.
	Extends its research support to rural development and agricultural financial institutions in strengthening the rural credit delivery system, rationalization of lending policies, Strengthening of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and other micro finance institutions. It also encourages integrated producers' organizations with forward and backward linkages, developing Cooperatives to enable farmers get good quality inputs and remunerative returns, through education and revitalization.
	Studies made in agricultural extension and marketing helped to provide farmers with information, training and other extension support on improved production technologies, improvement of agricultural information system and networking Agri-clinics and Agri-business Centres. CENPAP also provides consultancy solutions to develop marketing chains both for domestic and export marketing, developing and management of Argo-produce markets and helps in establishing Agricultural Marketing Information Network and construction of Cool Chain linkages for both domestic and export markets.
	Provides complete solutions to private sector in matters relating to, fostering International Cooperation in the sector and project planning and monitoring of externally assisted projects.
